Renovating the 350-room Marriott La Jolla proved to be as pleasant as its sunny, temperate southern California climate. Since it had been seven years since their previous renovation, and to maintain the properties image, our goal was to provide them with the highest quality accoutrements and finishes. The guestrooms were enhanced by installing new ceramic entry ways, carpet, drapes, and furniture. The work in the bathrooms was extensive, including framing work, new tile, millwork, vanities, plumbing, and fixtures. All of the hotel corridors received new vinyl wall coverings and carpet with decorative lighting sconces and millwork accent pieces. All of the rooms were furnished with new entry doors, hardware, and key lock systems. The Marriott La Jolla was renovated during their peak season, and the project was completed with an aggressive 90 day schedule.
